Superstore Season 6 Episode 7: Preview and Recap

Superstore is an American sitcom television series that made its debut in the entertainment industry in November 2015. Created by Justin Spitzer, the show is a workplace comedy that centers around a group of employees that work in a Cloud 9 store. Although being poles apart in personalities and having total contradiction when it comes to their personal lives and thinking, they’re no less than a family to each other. The show throws a spotlight on how these people tackle their everyday problems that arise in their personal life, aiming to strike a balance with all the load that is brought on their shoulders while they work. Superstore stars America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos, Nichole Sakura, Mark McKinney, and Kaliko Kauahi in key roles.

Superstore: Season 6 Episode 6 Recap

Superstore aired the sixth episode of its sixth season last week, and we witnessed some relatable content being focused around. In the last episode titled ‘Biscuit’, we see the return of Glenn from quarantine. He takes the help of Cheyenne and Bo to get Dina to surrender control. We also see Jonah and Mateo having second thoughts about helping Sandra with the medical needs of her cat. And most importantly, Garett puts an end effort to deal with issues concerned with the return of the customers back into the store.

Taking you through the details, Cloud 9 decides to take some solid steps and encourage customers to walk into the store and start shopping in person like old times. Since the outbreak of the global health pandemic, nobody is inclined to walk out of their homes. There to get them out of their houses so that they begin shopping, the store comes up with an idea of the ‘Prize Wheel.’ They install a huge prize wheel for the sake of promotion. The Cloud 9 employees believe that there are chances for people to walk in if they are offered a chance to spin the wheel and win prizes.

Glenn feels excited and gets involved in the prize wheel activity, and observe people as they play. However, after he reaches the store, he reveals in front of everyone there that he was exposed to a covid-19 positive person in his church choir. As a result of being in contact with an infected person, he will have to spend the entire day in his car. While being seated there, Sandra keeps updating him regarding the prize wheel activity over the phone. Now Dina is happy to be managing the store in Glenn’s absence because she always had issues with his ways of management. There’s she takes this golden opportunity as a way to show her determined and ordered style of management. Ofcourse she isn’t like by her peers for her strict management. Eventually, they begin raising complaints regarding it and ask for Glenn’s return.

At the same time, Jonah is excited when he comes to know that his father has set up an interview with a firm. The firm is dedicated to doing good things around alternative energy. Jonah informs Garrett and Cheyenne that he now wants to leave his store employment behind and wants to move ahead to better opportunities. But getting into the job isn’t easy for Jonah because he doesn’t qualify for it. The reason for it being the fact that he didn’t even finish business school.

Episode 7 Preview and Release Date

The seventh episode of the season will air on 28 January 2021, where we’ll delve deep into Jonah’s emotional state, and the employees help him move past Amy and tackle the issues that lie with the job he’s aiming at. Superstore airs its episodes on a weekly basis on NBC.
