Klassen proved to be the difference between the two sides.

Team SA was dealt a huge blow ahead of the match. Their regular Wk batter de Kock could not play due to an injury. However, it gave Klassen a chance to show his class. And so he did with flying colours.

India set up a mere target of 149 in their 20 overs. However, the home side responded with the ball in hand. Kumar’s excellent bowling saw them claim three wickets in the first six overs of the SA innings.

Bhuvi was one of the very few bright spots from Sunday’s match.

But, Klassen stood still on the crease. His knock of 81 runs was crucial for SA to get a win in the 2nd T20. Besides, it also brought him the man of the match award.

Batting order in a limbo

DK was probably the best Indian batter in the IPL 2022. His role as a finisher got him a place in the India team. However, during the match on Sunday night, he came into bat after Axar Patel. This change in the batting order did not go as per plan. Axar put up a score of 10runs in 11 balls. However, DK later came in to save the day for his team. He scored a crucial quickfire 30runs off 21 balls. Nevertheless, India will have to step up a gear in the next match.
