Will there be a Modern Family Season 12?
I am sorry to disappoint you guys. But it looks that there will not be a Modern Family Season 12. The producers of the show have already stated that the 11 seasons will be the finale season of the show. The Modern Family wasn’t originally supposed to have even an 11th season. The creators of the show Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd, once said that they planning to end the series with the 10th season. But those plans changed, and it was decided that the cast would return for the 11th season. But this is not the only reason why the show came to an end.
The cast had signed contracts only for 10 seasons. With the 11th season, the pay of the cast also increased. For the show was to go and have a 12th season, which would mean even higher salaries for the cast. The ratings of the show also saw a considerable decline, with season 11 having less than half of the views that season 8 had. This indicated that the show had run its course and should end with the 11th season. With decreasing ratings and increasing salaries for the cast, going ahead with the 12th season would be a foolish act.
Even though it has ended, Modern Family will always remain as one of the best Tv shows ever. Many of you may be upset to realize that your favorite show has come to an end and will not have a new season. But you can always rewatch it. All 11 seasons of the show are available on Disney Plus. So make sure to check it out. That is all about Modern Family Season 12.
