The Plot of the Movie
In the film, Natalie, a girl from Los Angeles, is on the lookout for the one. Through a dating app, she connects with a guy named Josh on the East Coast. To surprise him, she flies over for the holidays. As soon as Natalie arrives, it becomes obvious that she has been catfished since Josh does not resemble his pictures from the dating app. Rather, Josh used the picture of his school friend named Tag, who is really attractive. Over the holidays, Josh asks Natalie to pretend to be his girlfriend. For her efforts, he promises to set up a date with Tag.
In exchange for a date with Tag, Natalie acts as his girlfriend in order to please his family. After a while, she learns that Josh isn’t quite as bad as she thought. We see Natalie revert to fibs to impress the hunky Tag. Well, Well, how the tables have turned. She had criticized Josh for doing the same thing to her before. She is stuck in a love triangle between the sweet and nice guy Josh and the hot and hunky Tag. Who will she choose in the end? Why don’t you read ahead and find out for yourself?

Who Does Natalie End Up with in Love Hard?
In the end, our leading lady, Natalie, ends up with Josh. Natalie learns what she had been lying about herself in order to impress the handsome and sporty Tag on her much-anticipated date. Josh helps her figure this out. Josh had previously been heavily criticized by Natalie for catfishing her at the beginning of the movie. She realizes that she is better off telling the truth than to get into a relation filled with deception to win over someone who isn’t the right match as she first thought.
Natalie then realizes that she is better off with Josh as he is more compatible with her. Moreover, she had fallen for him after coming over and bonding with him. She goes to his house to apologize and win him back like in the movie Love Actually. Natalie ends up with Josh in Love Hard, and the movie comes to an end by showing the two opening Christmas presents with Josh’s family. Will they continue to have a loving relationship? or will they break up? We are hoping that Netflix comes up with a sequel for the movie so that we can see more of these two.
