With 2020 coming to an end, anime fans have one more new show to add to their waiting list. The new entrant to this list is Talentless Nana. Even before the final episode of season one was aired, fans began to ask when the show will come with another season? Other than speculations and rumors, we don’t have any news regarding Talentless Nana Season 2.
This Japanese anime series, also known as Munou Na Nana, aired its first episode in October 2020. With the final episode airing on 27th December, this anime series has made many fans to date. Not only fans, but this 13 episodes series was also successful enough to get good remarks from critics.
The Story Till Now
The anime Talentless Nana’s story is based on the manga of the same name, written by Looseboy and illustrated by Iori Furuya and published by Square Enix. The story of Talentless Nana is set around Students who have some special abilities. Thus these students are classified as Talented. At the same time, the opposite side is termed as Monsters, aiming to destroy the Talented students. After some time, a new kid joins the Talented Students, but she is not actually a talented student. But she was a secret killer sent by the government to assassin the talented students. Talentless Nana is distributed by Funimation.
By the end of the first season, things get a lot spiced up. Since many have already watched the show, we will not mention it, as it could be a huge spoiler for those who haven’t watched the season finale yet. Will Talentless Nana Comeback?
Unfortunately, there aren’t any official confirmations regarding the second installment of the show. To date, studio Bridge, the show’s producers or writer Fumihiko Shimo, and director Shinji Ishihira haven’t given any hints regarding the next season. But according to rumors, chances are high for a second chance.
We can also hope for the second season as the show still has a lot of fuel to run as it’s manga series is still running. Anime series has a lot to catch up to manga series to run out of the story. As of now, both the studio and the cast members have entered into other projects. Even if they have this show’s second season in the pipeline, it may take quite some time as most of the cast members are busy with their current projects.
Considering that anime series does take time to produce, we can’t expect the series to make a comeback with another season anytime soon.
The Plot Of Talentless Nana Season 2
As the first season had a cliffhanger ending, it is expected that season 2 will pick up from where it left at first. Nana will continue to live like a student while hiding the truth about her under the shadows. She also has to get over the suspicions others have on her, and ultimately, Nana has to fight the actual villain of the story.
If there is a second season, chances are high for the series to continue with the same cast members. With voice-over artists such as Rumi Okubo, Hiro Shimono, Takuya Nakashima, Takeo Otsuka, and Yoshitaka Yamaya, Mai Nakahara, Toshiki Masuda, Yuchi Nakamura. We may even see new characters in the next season.
